What's the difference between HireTalent.lat and other hiring platforms?

Unlike freelance marketplaces, we don't charge ongoing platform fees on payments, so you pay your team directly via Wise. Talent profiles show human-reviewed tool certifications backed by real work, not just job titles. We also include team management tools: time tracking, compliance docs, and bulk payments in one place. And you choose how to hire: run it yourself, or have our recruiters run the search.

Can I hire and manage the team myself?

Yes. Post a job or search approved profiles, message candidates, and hire the person directly. The Employer plan includes 3 job posts a month and lets you track time, approve PTO, run reviews and pay 3 people in bulk through Wise, with more seats at $20 a month each.

What does it cost to hire yourself?

Accepted Answer

Creating an account and browsing talent is free. A job post is $48, or included with the Employer plan at $88/month. There is no markup on worker pay.

Can you just do the hiring for me?

Yes, that is Done-For-You Recruiting. Send a short brief and one recruiter owns the search: sourcing in our network and well beyond it, screening, reference checks and the first interviews. You meet a shortlist of the strongest candidates within 10 business days and run one call to confirm fit. Nothing is owed while we scope the role.

What does Done-For-You Recruiting cost?

The placement fee is 20 percent of the hire's first-year salary. A deposit starts the search and the balance is due when you hire. You see the number before anything is owed, and we will say on the first call if posting the job yourself is the better route.

What happens if a placement does not work out?

Accepted Answer

Inside the first 90 days we rerun the full search and find a replacement at no additional charge, with the same scope and the same point of contact. There are no cash refunds on the placement fee once a hire is made, because the sourcing and interviewing work is already done, but you never pay for the search twice. 6 months of platform access comes with every placement, so you can manage the hire from day one or use your own tools.

Latin America spans multiple timezones that align with US business hours (Eastern, Central, Pacific). This means real-time collaboration with your team, with no waiting overnight for responses. Many professionals are also bilingual in English and Spanish.

We integrate with Wise for fast, low-fee international payments. You can pay individuals or your entire team in bulk with a few clicks. We handle the invoicing and record-keeping. No hidden fees, you pay Wise's standard transfer rates.

Yes. Our compliance toolkit includes contractor agreements, W-8BEN collection (required for US companies paying foreign contractors), and all documentation you need to stay compliant. Everything is automated and stored securely.

For anything deeper (references, prior work confirmation, formal background checks) the simplest path today is to ask the candidate directly through messaging once you start a conversation. They're typically happy to provide whatever you need to make a confident hire.

Before you commit to hiring, you can send candidates a paid trial task (you set the scope and budget). This lets you evaluate their actual work quality, communication, and reliability before making a longer-term commitment. It's the best way to find great fits.

Talent earn certifications by reviewing flawed real-world work and then showing their own, and our team reads every submission before a badge is issued. Certifications are live for 14 tools today, including ChatGPT, Claude, GoHighLevel, Canva, Zapier, Make, and n8n, with more launching based on talent demand. Earned badges appear on the candidate's profile.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, there are no long-term contracts. You can cancel your subscription anytime. You'll still have access to manage your existing team and process final payments, and we won't leave you or your team stranded. And just know you're always welcome back.
